Help Your Favorite Working Mother Win StraighterLine’s Scholarship for Working Moms
Mother’s Day is coming up fast on May 8. It’s a good time to turn your thoughts to your favorite working mom. Maybe she’s a friend of yours who is always there for her kids, but who manages to excel in her career too. Maybe she’s a single mother who is working while raising children on her own. Maybe she’s a stay-at-home mother who excels at being a mom. Maybe she’s your own mother, and you’d like to tell her how much you appreciate everything she has done for you.
So hold that special working mother of yours in your thoughts for a moment. Then do something else. Help her win StraighterLine’s special scholarship for working moms.
Here’s how it works . . .
In honor of Mother’s Day, StraighterLine will be awarding a special scholarship. It’s called The StraighterLine Scholarship for Working Moms, and it offers a unique opportunity for working mothers to start college at no cost through StraighterLine.
All applicants for the scholarship must be working mothers. As we noted above, they can work full-time, work part-time, or stay at home to raise children.
Applicants must submit an essay describing what going back to school would mean for them and a description of their jobs. (Again, being a full-time mom counts as a job!)
A StraighterLine panel will judge all entries. The winner will win a free “Freshman Year for $999” program - a great value that includes up to 10 StraighterLine courses.
Three runners-up will each receive a free one-month enrollment and one StraighterLine course free - a $138 value.
So remember that favorite working mother of yours – the one we were discussing at the start of this post. Why not give her a call right now and say that you want to help her start college next month, thanks to a special scholarship from StraighterLine?
