WASHINGTON D.C. - Straighterline (www.straighterline.com), a company that provides a highly-affordable, better-supported and more flexible solution for students needing general education college courses, has announced that the American Council on Education's (ACE) Credit Recommendation Service recommends all nine of Straighterline's courses for college credit. Straighterline's ACE approved courses are:

  • Accounting II
  • Macroeconomics
  • Microeconomics
  • Business Statistics

The ACE Credit system is a voluntary system that is used by thousands of colleges to determine whether a student can receive credit for coursework taken from unaccredited providers. After successfully passing a Straighterline courses, a student must create an ACE account and have their Straighterline transcript forwarded to their school of choice, so long as that school adheres to ACE recommendations. Even if a desired school does not adhere to ACE recommendations, a student may choose to expedite enrollment and save on fees by enrolling at one of Straighterline's partner colleges.
