StraighterLine Welcomes Scott Lomas, SVP of Business Development, to the Executive Team

StraighterLine is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Lomas, Senior Vice President of Business Development, to the executive team. Scott is passionate about innovation that improves outcomes for college students and the organizations that support them. He is particularly focused on improving graduation rates for Americans with some college and no degree. Throughout his career he has helped colleges and employers optimize the student experience, improve performance throughout the student lifecycle, and implement new ideas, practices and structures.

Scott will lead efforts to identify new growth opportunities for StraighterLine partner universities and employers. Scott will work to bridge the gap for adult learners between employers and universities, and will develop new partnership models to optimize degree pathways for students.

Prior to joining StraighterLine, Scott led partnership development and consulting for some of the most innovative companies in the higher education ecosystem including Pathstream, Entangled Solutions, InsideTrack, and Keypath Education. He has a long track record of aligning stakeholder interests to drive outcomes for students.

Scott attended UCLA and has a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from University of Kent, Canterbury.
