A new video shows how Ebru Eren, a student at Concordia University Irvine, used StraighterLine to graduate, finish college sooner, save money . . . and more!
Ebru Eren Essex, a student at Concordia University in Irvine, Calif., was working hard to finish her undergraduate program at Concordia University Irvine. But when she visited her advisor one day, she hit a snag that put her studies and her finances at risk.
“I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown,” she explains in a video that Concordia created and put online. “I was almost done with my bachelor’s program at Concordia, and I found out that I was still shy 13½ units!”
Ebru was worried that she wasn’t going to graduate, but then her advisor pointed her to StraighterLine. She signed up, completed her StraighterLine courses, then the results were sent directly to Concordia and her credits were accepted immediately, without the need for any cumbersome paperwork.
“At StraighterLine the classes are great, “Ebru explains in the video. “They are classes that you would take at any university or any college. It’s all online, and that’s actually a benefit for working moms. The cost affordability of StraightrerLine is great. I’m paying $100 a month and classes are $49. And that’s with a proctor, a tutor who’s available to you 24/7. It’s almost too good to be true.”
Thanks to Concordia University for letting Ebru tell her story online. And thanks to Ebru too, for being a StraighterLine student. We are glad we were here for you.
