Transfer College Credits To Western Governors University

Online Proctored ExamAs a pioneer in online education Western Governors University is taking a leading role in the trend to online proctoring for final exams.  As a service to our students we are offering an online proctoring service for all courses being transferred to WGU.  WGU requires that all final exams must be proctored through StraighterLine. There is a proctoring fee of $30 per final exam for online proctoring. Please make sure to select proctoring during the check out process for your course purchase.

For students who have enrolled in a SL course prior to February 1, 2012, that course will not be subject to the new WGU proctoring policy so long as the course is completed by March 31, 2012.

StraighterLine will indicate on its transcript whether the final exam for a course has been proctored, and will note where a course falls within the grandfathering policy and therefore not requiring a proctored final.

Note – Writing courses do not have a timed final and therefore proctoring is not applicable.
