Online Proctoring
Take Your Exams at Home
StraighterLine is proud to offer students the opportunity to take their exams at home with an online proctor. Using our online proctors, you can take your exams at home or anywhere. All you need is a webcam with a microphone and a reliable, high-speed internet connection.
Taking proctored exams is easy! In a simple, three-step process, your live proctor will make sure you are ready and help you begin.
What to Expect During Your Proctored Exam
When you start your proctoring session your proctor will take your photo (so make sure you are looking your best…). The proctor will also ask for proof of identification. You must have a government-issued photo ID for this purpose. The proctor will take a picture of the ID for official records. They will also ask you to answer a few questions about yourself generated from public records.
The proctor will guide you to position your webcam so they can review your work area and surroundings. They will also stay logged into your machine and monitor your windows during the session.
