Well let me tell you. Ive been fighting with AMU for about a month now. The end result! They will accept Strighterling Intro to Psych, Intro Sociology, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics for Social Science credit under general electives. They will accept Western Civ and US History I for History credit, They will accept any of the science courses i.e. Intro Biology, Intro Chemistry e.c.t as long as you do the lab portion which will make it 4 credits. The will also accept the math portion but not sure which one. I used ALEKS Pre-Calc. So just make sure you transfer SL credit straight to ACE transcripts. Thats the only way they will accept it. Better do it quick though because who knows how long it will last!!

This was an excellent experience overall. I saved quite a bit of money, time, and frustration by taking this course at StraighterLine. The credit transfer process took about a week from start to finish. There were no problems or issues - once I set up the transfer with StraighterLine, everything else was automatic. It could not have been easier, and I HIGHLY recommend StraighterLine for any of these basic classes.

Introductory Biology for Nonmajors & Lab

It was by far the best and most smooth experience in credit transfer for me ever. It took less than 3 days for it to show on my CCSU transcripts. My straighter line course adviser transferred the transcripts to ACE. later on the same day I received an email from ACE website telling me that they received a transcript for me from straighter line, finally I ordered an official copy to be send over to my school CCSU via expedite shipping, and it was there by the very next day.I still dont believe it. Thank you Straighter Line.

Ive had 10 courses transferred so far to Excelsior without any issue, and its usually been very prompt in comparison to most schools Ive dealt with. If you are enrolled with Excelsior and in a program just have Straighterline send out the transcript and Excelsior will update your transcript without you having to do anything. If you are using Excelsiors credit bank (OneTranscript) then you need to let them know the transcript is on its way and you need to pay a fee to update your transcript. The only issue I had was on Excelsiors end, they received multiple transcripts from straighterline and ignored one of them. Be sure to tell them what courses will be on the transcript you are sending if you are using OneTranscript, theyre much less attentive if youre not currently enrolled in a program in my opinion.

The course was great! Content and presentation was very good and followed the course text. The transfer to Excelsior was smooth and Excelsior applied the course to my Natural Science requirement the day after they were in receipt of the transcript. Very satisfied and will continue to use Straighterline for General Requirements!

I took Economics I and II using the partner college agreement with Ft Hays State University, everything went pretty well and fast, I later transferred the class again to Excelsior College without a problem. Everything was fast and simple, excepting the coursework that was pretty challenging... lots of tests. Thank you very much
