StraighterLine Honored as "New Company of the Year"

We are excited to announce that StraighterLine has just won this year’s Maryland Incubator Award for New Company of the Year.

StraighterLine was selected to receive this award by a committee of venture capitalists and government and business leaders in Maryland. Here are some of the factors that the judges weighed as they selected this year’s winners:

New Company of the Year - StraighterLine (Emerging Technology Center, Baltimore) offers affordable online freshman-level college courses. Students who successfully complete StraighterLine courses receive credit when they enroll with any college belonging to its network of regionally accredited partner colleges and universities.

We are pleased that the Incubator Awards recognized StraighterLine’s efforts to provide high-quality, low-cost college courses.
