Ebru Eren Essex: The Story of a CUI Student’s StraighterLine Success

Ebru Eren Essex, who was already a student at CCUI, was working hard to finish her undergraduate program at Concordia University Irvine. But when she visited her advisor one day, she hit a snag that put her studies and her finances at risk. She found out that she still needed to earn 13½ credits before she could graduate.

Her advisor pointed her to StraighterLine. She signed up, completed her StraighterLine courses. The results were sent directly to CCUI, and her credits were accepted immediately, without the need for any cumbersome paperwork.

“At StraighterLine the classes are great, “Ebru explains. “They are classes that you would take at any university or any college. It’s all online, and that’s actually a benefit for working moms. The cost affordability of StraighterLine is great. I’m paying $100 a month and classes are $49. And that’s with a proctor, a tutor who’s available to you 24/7. It’s almost too good to be true.”

You can watch her tell her success story in this video. As you plan your college studies, be sure to consider CUI too. It could be the start of your success story too.
