Colleges that Change Lives

An organization called Colleges that Change Lives (CTCL) has been around for more than a decade now, helping unique students find unique colleges where they will prosper. By “unique students,” CTCL means highly intelligent students who will flourish in unusual colleges that emphasize the needs of the individual. CTCL was created following the success of Colleges that Change Lives: 40 Schools that Will Change the Way You Think about College, a book by the late Loren Pope.

CTCL hosts more than 20 college fairs every year, all attended by a handpicked group of “life-changing” colleges that includes Agnes Scott College, Allegheny College, Antioch College, Earlham College, Eckerd College, Evergreen State College, Goucher College, Hampshire College, Lynchburg College, Reed College, Ursinus College and the College of Wooster.

If you visit the websites of these colleges, you will notice that they all emphasize educating the individual.  You will notice something else too – they are expensive and best for students who are willing to spend a lot of money (or take a lot of loans) to pay for their education.

So CTCL, we would like to nominate the following colleges and universities for inclusion on your list. They are all economical StraighterLine Partner Colleges, therefore able to change lives at low cost.  The list of Partner Colleges includes:

All of those colleges can change your life too, and because they are Partner Colleges, you can enroll in them immediately after you take college courses online at StraighterLine. They all offer online instruction, many alongside regular classroom courses, so you can start going to college conveniently at any of them. And they all deliver top-quality instruction at a very reasonable cost. Tens of thousands of American students already attend them – students who want to attend excellent colleges without going the high-ticket route.
