What the General Public Doesn’t Understand about Online Education
Posted on September 30, 2012 by Barry Lenson
Online education isn’t the only new idea that people believed was too good to be true. At first, many people thought that automobiles would never replace horse-drawn carriages. Posted on January 17, 2012 by Barry Lenson
If you wanted to name the year 2011, chances are you would call it “The Year of Doom and Gloom.” Negative predictions were everywhere, as the American dream came under attack. The dream of owning a home? Dead, in the new recession. The dream of getting a job after graduating from college? Dead, because American hiring was at an all-time low. Head-Scratcher: Are Online Courses Single-Sex Education?
Posted on September 27, 2011 by Barry Lenson
For years, it has been widely believed that single-sex education is a very positive practice, for girls especially. Studies have shown that girls learn better, especially in math and science, when no pushy, hand-raising boys are in the classroom. Studies have been harder to find about the effectiveness of single-sex education for boys.
