Busted Myth of the Week: There’s Something Wrong with “Night School”

Years ago, people went to night school if they wanted to pursue college studies while they were too busy working a job. There was something of a stigma to it, because the people who went to night school didn’t have enough money to go to a “real” college.

What bunk. Today, people take college courses at night because they are working during the day, because they are too busy taking care of their kids during the day, because they are in the military, or for other reasons that everybody respects. And of course, people are taking distance learning courses at night, in the morning – any time. And people who take college courses online are saving so much money, everybody knows they are smart.

So night school is now morning school, evening school, afternoon school and even weekend school. Thanks to online education, you can take courses whenever you want. And what could be better than that!
